Parents and care takers play an integral role at Magnolia Public STEM Schools. They are engaged from our very inception as partners and will continue to be engaged with the
school in various capacities.
We believe
that learning does not end with the school day. This is why parents are counted
on to continue the learning process and be an active partner in the child’s
education. Whether it is at the school or at home, we encourage parents to
maintain a visible presence in their children’s learning.
Monthly
meetings are held where parents are given the progress report of their child
and also given information on current school events. Parents are free to
discuss school matters with the teacher or school administrators
whenever they like during the school hours. The school also hosts a number of
parent training classes that allow the parents to learn, as well as ask questions about
some of the common parenting issues they might be facing in their families.
